Auto business
In one of my previous work experience, I was fortunate enough to be hired a group of company who’s main line of of business is into car dealership. Being inside the company, I realized that there is more to it than just selling cars. The industry has a lot of opportunity to offer a very wise entrepreneur. Our company, aside from selling cars also sells motor trade insurance and it even open a separate company to cater to the vehicle insurance needs of its buyers.
And then there’s the business of car maintenance. I learned that our mechanics do not only repair cars that were bought from us, but being in a highly traffic location, we also get a lot of “drive-ins” and of course, the other cars of loyal clients, only because they like our service.
Since there is a service department, it follows that there should also be a spare parts department to help the loyal clients save on the cost of spare parts, and at the same time earn from non-clients who needs spare parts as well.
It is indeed a very good business, with a lot of business opportunity that goes along with it. I know, once I get enough know-how and the capital required, this is one business I would like to try.
